Latitude vs. Temperature

In this graph, one can readily see the relationship between temperature and latitude. As one would naturally expect, temperature rises the closer one is to the equator. Perhaps most interestingly, weather observations in the different hemispheres, differ, with cities around 40 to 50 degrees north being noticeably cooler than cities at 40 to 50 degrees south. this illustrates the the Earth's tilt, as this effect is most likely seasonal. Performing another measurement six months from the time of the original observation would help to better explore this relationship.

It should be noted that the relationship apparent here is very strong, with a clearly obvious visual curve showing the relationship between latitude and temperature.
